Cold self-adhesive bituminous elastomer gaiter having a high modulus of elasticity, assembled and protected with a high-density polyethylene film (HDPE). It is corrosion-proofing; it has a high dielectric and mechanic protection on steel mains or pipes to be laid underground. Thanks to its high modulus of elasticity, FLEXBIT-100 is suitable for the first covering of joints, curves and irregular surfaces, too. Moreover, this product is suitable for the impermeabilization of different types of covering, vertical walls, foundation walls, ridge caps and flashings. It is a steam barrier inside refrigerating rooms and it is different chemical agent proof.
Clean well the surface to be treated, and lay off a thin layer of FACOT tackifying primer on non-metal or uneven surfaces. Remove the anti-adherent protective film and apply the product exerting a light pressure with your hand, overlapping 10% the side and longitudinal edges.
