Eco-friendly quick action and long lasting de-icing solution.Eco-friendly product and corrosion inhibitor-based product with an effective de-icing and preventive action while being eco-friendly. It is suitable for use on runways, taxiways and transfer tracks, in addition to roads and service areas of communities, industrial sites or residential areas to enhance safety and improve the traffic flow. The product is non-toxic and harmless to animals, aquatic life and humans. Moreover ICEROAD is not classified as irritant and is therefore particularly indicated for use where there is a risk of food contamination or accidental ingestion and can be used by either skilled operators or private individuals. Furthermore ICEROAD meets AMS 1434A specifications and is classified WGK1 thanks to its excellent biodegradability and its low aquatic toxicity (WGK is a German method used to classify chemicals - classes 1 to 3 - as with regard to water dangerousness; ICEROAD is a class 1 product, which means it has a very low water hazard risk).It can be applied using mechanical devices or spray systems. A rapid, inexpensive and long lasting solution to remove snow and ice without damaging metal, concrete and bituminous structures which makes it therefore ideal for street furniture of less corrosion-resistant metals, too. Thanks to its high active ingredient content and high viscosity it acts quickly and has a long-lasting effect. The product melts ice by decreasing water freezing temperature; in fact, thanks to its very low freezing point, when mixed with ice its freezing point is very low.    

Anti-icing function:

Apply the product using a liquid dispenser (pressure hand pumps or mechanical pumps) before ice forms: a 6-kg jerrycan is sufficient to treat a surface area of 300 m²; a 12-kg jerrycan is sufficient to treat a surface area of over 600 m² whereas the 30-kg jerrycan can treat a surface area of 1500 m².

De-icing function:

Apply the product after ice has formed: a 6-kg jerrycan is sufficient to treat a surface area of 150 - 200 m²; a 12-kg jerrycan is sufficient to treat a surface area of 300 - 400 m² whereas the 30-kg jerrycan can treat a surface area of 900 – 1000 m².

Thanks to its anti-slip properties ICEROAD does not need to be mixed with sand.
